Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 tbsp loose black tea (Assam or CTC)
- 4 green cardamom pods, crushed
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 inch fresh ginger, crushed
- 2-3 tbsp sugar or to taste
Instructions

Add water and all spices to a saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil.

Add tea leaves and boil for 2 minutes.

Add milk and sugar. Bring back to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes, allowing it to rise and fall.

Strain into cups and serve immediately.
